The Talos Principle is a three-dimensional puzzle game that involves clearing a path to sigils (items you collect throughout the game) using different tools at each location. When the job is done, you pick up the sigil and run to another location to do the same. You need to collect these sigils in order to use them to open access to the next worlds and new items in the game. Once you have collected all the sigils for a particular task, you need to put them together in another type of puzzle, which is a local variation of Tetris. After that, you can move on.
The player’s main obstacles on the way to the sigils are a kind of power shields-doors that prevent the character from moving freely within each puzzle. Several types of drones or turrets can also block the path. The player will get out of the situation by using and combining a number of devices: deactivators (neutralize power barriers, drones, and turrets), boxes (allow you to put other objects on them or jump on these boxes yourself), connectors (serve as a method of transmitting power beams to their receivers, which in turn allows you to open power doors), etc. If you have difficulty solving a particular task, you can leave it and come back later.

It should be noted that the puzzles can be very difficult (and even more difficult with collecting stars), so the game would benefit from the ability to receive clearer hints than indirect hints from the messengers. However, the game doesn’t provide such features – the authors decided to torture the players’ cerebral cortices or raise the rating of the walkthrough channels on Youtube.
